An Examination of the Relationship among Safety, Health Measures, and Crisis Management in Rata Shomal Recycling Industries

Abstract
Implementing safety and health principles in industrial environments significantly reduces direct and indirect costs, increases human productivity, improves general health levels of the organization, and prevents legal challenges for economic activists. Therefore, this study investigates the relationship between safety and health measures and crisis management in Rata Shomal Recycling Industries. This applied, descriptive-survey research studied the statistical population of all 100 employees of Rata Shomal Recycling Industries. Based on Morgan's table, a representative sample of 80 individuals was selected using a simple random sampling method. The primary data collection tool was a researcher-made questionnaire with established content validity (confirmed by academic experts) and reliability confirmed by Cronbach's alpha coefficient (above 0.7). The collected data were thoroughly analyzed using both descriptive and inferential statistics, including the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, Pearson correlation, and regression analysis, utilizing SPSS version 23 software. The results of the statistical tests demonstrated a positive and highly significant relationship between all dimensions of safety and health measures, specifically including "safety training and supervision", "safety consultation", "management commitment", "safety reporting", and "work safety compliance procedures", with "crisis management" in Rata Shomal Recycling Industries Company (P < 0.01). The systematic establishment and continuous implementation of safety, health, and managerial measures play a crucial role in enhancing organizational resilience and facilitating optimal crisis management in high-risk recycling industries, thereby preventing irreparable human, social, and financial damages.
