Abstract
Nurses are among the most crucial pillars of the treatment sector and constitute the largest group of service providers within the health system. Consequently, they must maintain optimal general health and quality of life.

This is a descriptive-analytical study employing a correlational design. The statistical population comprised approximately 400 nurses working at Imam Khomeini, Imam Reza, and Haft-e Tir hospitals in Amol city. The study was conducted based on data collected from 196 samples, the size of which was determined using Morgan’s table.

Data collection was carried out through two methods: library research and field studies. Data were collected using the 28-item General Health Questionnaire (GHQ-28), Walton’s Quality of Working Life Questionnaire (1973), and the Minnesota Satisfaction Questionnaire (MSQ). The collected data were analyzed using SPSS software version 25.

Spearman’s correlation test was employed to test the research hypotheses. Both descriptive and inferential statistical methods were utilized for data analysis. The questionnaire data were processed and analyzed in two sections using SPSS version 25.

The results indicated that general health is a predictor of both quality of working life and job satisfaction. Furthermore, quality of working life is also capable of predicting nurses’ job satisfaction.
