The process of adopting and implementing Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is a socio-technical challenge that affects strategic and operational levels, and does not necessarily yield the expected returns. Therefore, assessing organizational readiness prior to implementation is crucial. This study aims to evaluate organizational readiness and the feasibility of implementing an ERP system within the Information Technology Deputy of the Ministry of Industry, Mine, and Trade. This research is applied in purpose and descriptive-survey in nature. The statistical population comprised 85 project managers, IT experts, and experienced managers. Using simple random sampling and the Krejcie and Morgan table, a sample of 70 individuals was selected. Data were collected via a researcher-made questionnaire based on the McKinsey 7S model, encompassing 23 sub-factors. The Friedman test was employed to analyze and rank the factors. The results indicated that the impact of the seven 7S model factors on organizational readiness is not equal, showing a significant difference. The dimensions of Strategy (mean rank 5.18) and Shared Values (5.09) achieved the highest ranks, while the Staff dimension received the lowest rank (2.81). Identifying and ranking these factors enables managers to proactively mitigate implementation risks. By developing targeted preparation plans concerning personnel, data, and technical infrastructure, organizations can address weaknesses and establish a solid foundation for a successful ERP deployment.
