Effects of Strategic Information Systems on Competitive Strategy and Performance companies

Abstract
Given today's global market and the increasingly complex economy of strategic information systems, it is crucial for many organizations to survive and business executives are constantly making it one of the top IT management issues. The present study was conducted to determine the impact of strategic information systems on competitive strategy and firm performance. In the present study, the statistical population includes managers and engineers of installation companies in the eastern region of Mazandaran province with 157 employees. The factors introduced in the model were evaluated on the target population and the sample consisted of 112 managers and engineers of the utilities companies. Then, by gathering the necessary data and information in the form of library and field research methods and using spss and smart-pls software to perform statistical tests on each variable. The results showen that strategic information systems had a significant impact on strategy. Strategic information systems had a significant impact on cost leadership strategy. Strategic information systems have a significant impact on differentiation strategy. Strategic information systems have a significant impact on corporate performance and competitive strategy has a significant impact on corporate performance.
