Abstract
Nowadays, in a knowledge-based economy, intellectual capital is considered one of the most vital intangible assets of organizations, playing a fundamental role in creating a sustainable competitive advantage and fostering innovative activities. The purpose of this applied research is to investigate the impact of intellectual capital and its three dimensions (human capital, structural capital, and relational capital) on organizational entrepreneurship in the Mazandaran Science and Technology Park. The research method is descriptive-survey and correlational in nature. The statistical population of the study includes all employees of the park and managers of knowledge-based companies located therein, totaling 96 individuals. Using Cochran's formula and a simple random sampling method, the sample size was estimated at 77 individuals. Data collection was conducted through both library and field methods. The standard instruments used were the Bontis intellectual capital questionnaire and the Margareta Hill organizational entrepreneurship questionnaire, the validity and reliability of which were confirmed. For inferential data analysis, after confirming the normal distribution of data using the Kolmogorov-Smirnov (K-S) test, Pearson correlation and linear regression tests were employed. The research findings indicated that intellectual capital, along with each of its components—namely human capital, structural capital, and relational capital—has a positive and significant effect on the development of organizational entrepreneurship in the knowledge-based companies of the Mazandaran Science and Technology Park. Consequently, strengthening knowledge infrastructures, enhancing employee competencies, and improving external communications can provide the necessary foundation for the flourishing of intra-organizational entrepreneurship.
